Hi all,

Looking for the designer of this nice coat-rack manufactured by Ahrend / Cirkel.

Made of grey enamel on cast iron and brushed steel.

Marked on the bottom with: Ahrend / Cirkel - 1 Sep. 1964 -

Hi,

I could not locate the coat stand above in any catalogue or book.

But.. Found two more very similar coat stands, both Dutch and attributed to Gispen.

Wim Rietveld was working for Gispen between 1953 and 1956, after that he began working as a designer for De Cirkel NV.
It is possible he designed the coat stands below for Gispen and altered the design a bit for De Cirkel.
