Helsinki Vintage, the time machine of all the times. It is a sales event with a programme. In the event you can explore the past decades design, aesthetics and the different forms of vintage culture.
The dealers - professionals of the vintage fashion and design - come around Finland and Europe and offer you an extraordinary possible to make vintage shopping. There are about fifty dealers in the event that have been selected carefully to ensure the quality and variety of the products and the whole event. Among the authentic vintage products you'll find various products strongly influenced by the past decades. You'll also come across with some services that fit the theme e.g. shoemaker and refurbishment services.
Amongst the vintage furniture dealers are: Hilda & Hulda, Idla and Living 50's.
We wanted to offer you an approachable and striking event and fill the expectations of the most demanding vintage devotees and professionals. Gladly we can say that we have succeeded, for the last event was visited by about 2500 people and the feedback has been rather positive. Furthermore, the event enjoyed broad visibility in media. For example, MTV3 released a piece of news about Helsinki Vintage in it's main newscast on the event day in March 2010.
Beside the shopping possibilities the programme of Helsinki Vintage includes vintage culture in different forms. You'll hear live bands and DJ:s playing music from the past decades. And you can experience other core contents of the event in different exhibitions, like burlesque pictures and old slot machines. The event also aggregates different vintage devotees, for example Naisten Automobiiliklubi (Women's Automobile Club) and Finnish Scooter Club Association.
