The only fair in Holland dedicated to original design from the 20th century. It will be a unique trade show about modernism. About authenticity, form or function, about the history of the design icons that inspire us up until the present day.
At Design Icons Amsterdam 60 dealers will present their stock. All are original designs pieces from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. Appreciators of vintage quality furniture and an individual style can enjoy the offer that will vary from exclusive designers pieces (Eames, Arne Jacobsen, Mies van der Rohe, Bertoia) to more affordable items. Expect to see rocking chairs, French appliques, Scandinavian teak cabinets, Dutch design, industrial chairs and wall units and all kind of interior accessories.
The very first edition of Design Icons will take place the weekend of 11 + 12 February 2012, in the north of Amsterdam in the venue of "Bedrijfsterrein De Overkant". The hall called “De Kromhouthal” is a former shipyard that has been restored completely into a charming event location. Directly situated to the water of 't IJ, there is a view to the city center. The industrial atmosphere is the ideal setting to showcase the design classics of the 20th century.

The first edition of ArtVintage market will take place on the 23rd and 24th of September.
A mix of upcoming talented artists, vintage design and reproductions will present in variable living settings inside a new location of Rotterdam, Mini Mall. A creative hotspot with exclusive shops, jazz bar, restaurants and a coffee bar will give a dynamic atmosphere to the event.
A selection of vintage furniture design and clothing will expose their collection on a stage combined with art of selected artists. Thereby we will give the visitors an inspiration of how to combine vintage and art in their own lifestyle!

This year PAN Amsterdam, the Netherlands' art and antiques fair of today, will run from 21 to 28 November in the Parkhal of the Amsterdam RAI. One hundred and sixteen dealers will be at the fair, which is now in its 24th year. A record number of almost 42,000 people visited the fair in 2009. PAN Amsterdam is an annual event in the diaries of more than two thirds of all of the visitors to the fair.
Participating vintage design sellers are: My Modern, Zitzo, Wonderwood, Whiterouge. All present in our Dutch listing. WonderWood (Amsterdam) will enhance the twentieth-century design on offer at PAN Amsterdam with laminated wooden furniture made between 1930 and 1950.
Rondje PAN Every day art lovers who would like to spend an hour getting a good idea of the diversity of PAN Amsterdam can take part in Rondje PAN (“Around PAN”), a guided tour in Dutch that provides a more detailed explanation of a number of top items. Price € 5 per person.
On May 17, 2009, Amsterdam sees its second European design Trade Show UNDESIGNABLE. 30 galleries and dealers from all over Europe will present their finest 20th century design pieces at Amsterdam's KNSM island, Loods 6.
The UNDESIGNABLE fair shows a wide choice of objects, e.g. exquisite genuine furniture, lighting, paintings, prints, jewellery and decorative and art pieces from plastic, glass or ceramics. Design aficionados attracted to last century's period from the 50s to 80s find their own dream piece, or just browse and enjoy the stylish variety of these decades.
Works of famous designers as Cees Braakman, Friso Kramer, Jean Prouvé, Arne Jacobsen, Bruno Mathsson, Charles and Ray Eames or Joe Colombo and many others will be on show at the exhibition area that expands to some 700 sqm. Most of the dealers and galleries, from the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, will present their treasures for the very first time in Amsterdam. All merchandise offered for sale during the event is authentic; with no reproductions permitted.
Following the start in Dutch design Mecca Eindhoven in May 2007 and after the successful Trade Show in Berlin 2007 and 2008, UNDESIGNABLE aims at coming back in Amsterdam, and add to the city's fashion design scene as a periodical event.

At DesignTrade, the open air vintage design market, in the centre of Schiedam, the Netherlands. Designtrade will be on the 22-nd of June 2008, between 10:00 and 17:00 hours. Only original vintage design furniture from the 50's till present, will be sold. There is free entrance!
